The above map shows what offshore and nearshore locations have been or currently are in the process of being assessed world-wide as new potential outsourcing destinations where Pentalog could establish additional production subsidiaries and outsourcing partnerships. The choices of assessed countries are made according to different criteria as described here but also take into account specific needs expressed by our existing clients and partners, who may for example request certain types of technical or language skills, fast ramp-up capabilities, etc.

Whereas India and China offer a unique pool of human resources in terms of size, the time difference and cultural gap with Western Europe can be a real barrier. Russia is famous for its high-level scientific background and is therefore considered a top location to outsource embedded software development, while Tunisia and Morocco belong to the preferred nearshore outsourcing locations of French businesses, because of their language skills. Each company has its own specificity and needs that have to be balanced to find the best alternative to establish offshore outsourcing partnerships.
